Anyone can post a pig for adoption/rehoming/fostering (No Breeder Listings)
Adopt a Pig will direct all requests for information directly to the owner - owner will be responsible for all adopter/foster screening, homes checks and transport. Owner contact information required with each post.
Adopt a Pig will actively network your pig, act as the primary contact, process applications, complete home checks, reference checks and interviews. We will be the contract holder to protect your pig for the entirety of it's life. Surrender fees apply.
Surrender fees apply only when 'Adopt a Pig' places your pig with a rescue/sanctuary, foster or adoptive home. Surrender fees do not apply to private owner listings.
Adjusted fees for multiple pigs being rehomed. All surrender fees due prior to transport.
Adoption fees for any pig supported by 'Adopt a Pig' (does not apply to private owner listings)
Includes spay/neuter, vetting and a lifetime of support and guidance. Adoption contract required.
30 day neuter/ 60 day spay contract required - $100 of your adoption fee will be applied to the spay/neuter and paid direct to veterinarian.
Transport assistance available - Payment due prior to pick up and paid directly to transporter.
Transport assistance available - No hourly rate applies to the first three hours of transport.
Hourly rate for excessive distances - rates begin at 4th hour and conclude at drop off location - includes unloading.
Mileage fees determined by total amount of miles driven between pick-up and drop-off location.
Payments and donations will be applied to the pig and/or owners name listed in the comment field.
